摘要：A magnetic tape cassette includes a cassette casing (1) comprising upper andlower cassette parts (2, 3) joined to each other, a pair of reel hubs (7, 8) rotatablydisposed in the cassette casing (1) and supported by the cassette parts (2, 3), and amagnetic tape (T) wound around the reel hubs (7, 8) and housed in the cassette casing (1).
The cassette parts (2, 3) each have a pair of aligned apertures (2a, 2b, 3a, 3b) definedtherein for receiving hub drive shafts, and a pair of circular recesses (2a1, 2b1, 3a1, 3b1)defined in inner surfaces of the cassette parts (2, 3) in coaxial surrounding relation to theapertures. The reel hubs (7, 8) have axial apertures for receiving the hub drive shafts andopen ends loosely fitted in the recesses (2a1, 2b1, 3a1, 3b1).
